Marie Potel-Saville to Speak at DHV-NET on Trust in Digital Health

Our CEO and co-founder Marie Potel-Saville will be speaking at an upcoming DHV-NET event on 22nd September, focused on building trust in digital health. Her talk, "Building Trust: The New Competitive Advantage in Digital Health," looks at how organisations can spot and address bias in their digital products, and what it actually takes to build fairness and transparency into healthcare experiences.
Marie will draw on her work at the intersection of AI, responsible innovation and human-centred design, an area she has spent years focused on through FairPatterns, the platform she co-founded to help organisations detect and prevent discriminatory patterns in digital products and services. She'll get into why trust matters so much for patients, clinicians and the broader healthcare ecosystem, and how bias in digital tools can quietly undermine it if left unchecked.
For any organisation building digital health products, fairness isn't just a compliance checkbox. It shapes whether patients trust the tools they're using and whether healthcare professionals feel confident recommending them. Marie's talk will offer practical ways to think about identifying bias early and reducing the regulatory and reputational risks that come with getting it wrong.
DHV-NET brings together experts working across digital health, and we're glad to see Marie included among them.
