Legal Engineer Trainee

As a legal researcher in all things privacy, digital sovereignty and dark patterns related, Orla likes to work at the intersection of regulatory and policy developments of digital technologies. With an LL.B in European law from The Hague University and an LL.M in Technology law from Utrecht University, Orla is well versed in legal technology matters, specifically dark patterns and tracking technologies. By working on projects that matter, such as her work at FairPatterns, Orla deepens her knowledge on dark patterns and the growing regulatory attention they are gaining. She also works as a freelance writer at the Digital Watch Observatory, is co-authoring a paper on developer privacy challenges, a sovereignty infrastructure analyst at Euro Prospects and a noyb country reporter.
